The Centre for Health Care Research (CHCR) is an institution of theMeldorf University Teaching Hospital & School (MH) and the University of Berlin. The role of the CHCR is to promote and support health care research at the MH and the University of Berlin.

The CHCR centralises in Berlinnumerous institutions, which are successful in the area of health care research and competently cover the relevant subjects and methods of an internationally competitive health care research.

These include specific epidemiological, meta-analytical and health economic research methods, a network of regional, national and international research cooperation partners (medical surgeries, hospitals, health insurance companies, DRV (German old age pension insurance), research institutions, etc.) as well as specified organisational structures enabling the successful development of the CHCR.
